Tutorial - How to use MLDownloader with Omnitrader

Step One

Make sure that the option "MetaStock format" is selected in the "Download->Options" dialog.

Step Two

Load OmniTrader and open the Focus list.

Step Three

Click on the Edit Focus List pencil button.

Step Four

Browse to your data folder under Drives & Directories eg. C:\Data\NASDAQ\P
A list of all the symbols begin with P will be displayed.

Step Five

Highlight the symbol you want and click Add, this will move the symbol to the Focus List. Click ok when you have added all the symbols you want to the Focus List.

Step Six

To Display a chart, double click on a symbol in the Focus List window.
